Swarovski Limited Editions Are Now Easier to Find at Crystal Exchange America, a Retired Swarovski Dealer

Swarovski Limited Edition Hong Kong figurine from 1997

Middletown, OH (Vocus) May 12, 2010

Crystal Exchange America is very in tune with Swarovski collectors’ expectations for a user-friendly site. With a revived collector interest in Limited Editions, Crystal Exchange America has added a category to the store dedicated to Limited Edition Swarovski. The new category focuses on crystal figurines that Swarovski markets (or has marketed) as limited edition pieces to all Swarovski collectors.

Swarovski crystal figurines in ‘Limited Edition Swarovski’ are generally limited by quantity or a short term production run. Some of the Swarovski Limited Editions have sequence numbers on them. Some of the limited editions have numbered certificates. And some of the limited editions simply have the production year on the crystal. No matter how Swarovski determined and labeled the limited editions, they are still highly sought after by Swarovski collectors due to their uniqueness.

While the newer category may seem like a re-invention of their category ‘Collector Society / SCS Annual and Limited Editions, the two categories are completely different and do not include any Swarovski crystal figurines in both categories. SCS Annual and Limited Editions are crystal pieces that could be purchased by an SCS member. Crystal in this category includes the Swarovski Annual Editions and certain Numbered Limited Editions (production max of 10,000 units). SCS yearly crystal figures in this category include: Swarovski Caring and Sharing (1987 – 1989): Lovebirds, Woodpeckers, and Turtledoves; Swarovski Mother and Child (1990 – 1992): Dolphins, Seals, and Whales; Swarovski Inspiration Africa (1993 – 1995): Elephant, Kudu, and Lion; Swarovski Fabulous Creature (1996 – 1998): Unicorn, Dragon, and Pegasus; Swarovski Masquerade (1999 – 2001): Pierrot, Columbine, and Harlequin; Swarovski Magic of Dance (2002 – 2004): Isadora, Antonio, and Anna; Swarovski Wonders of the Sea (2005 – 2007): Harmony, Community, and Eternity; and Swarovski Endangered Wildlife (2008 – 2010): Pandas, Gorillas, and Tiger. The Numbered Limited Editions in this category include: Swarovski Eagle (Limited Edition,1995), Swarovski Peacock (Limited Edition, 1998), Swarovski Wild Horses (Limited Edition, 2001), Swarovski Bull (Limited Edition, 2004), Swarovski Elephant (Limited Edition, 2006), and Swarovski Rhinoceros (Limited Edition, 2008).

The Swarovski pieces in new category ‘Limited Edition Swarovski’ differs in that the company Swarovski did not require SCS membership as a prerequisite to purchase the item directly from them. The partial list here mentions some of the crystal in the new category: Swarovski Lovlots Limited Editions: Shady, Pinky Mo, Soccer Mo, Flower Mo, Halloween Mo, Violetta, Theo, and Ziggy; Disney Collection Limited Editions: Tinker Bell, Mickey Mouse Sorcerer, and Pinocchio; Limited Edition Masks; and Other Limited Editions….most recently the Swarovski Limited Edition Black Panther (sold out in April, 2010).

For more information about Limited Edition Swarovski, visit http://www.crystalexchange.com/swarovskiLimitedEditionCrystal.html.

Crystal Exchange America has over 13 years of experience and assists collectors adding crystal to their Swarovski collection as well as helping those who want to liquidate Swarovski crystal collections or sell only a part of them. Crystal Exchange America, a retired Swarovski dealer, specializes in discontinued and retired Swarovski crystal.

For the avid crystal collector looking for more than the Swarovski figurines, Crystal Exchange America also sells the most popular books on Swarovski Crystal as well as software to easily inventory a Swarovski Crystal collection. Two of the collectors’ favorite Swarovski price guides are written and published by Swarovski collectors: Warner’s Blue Ribbon Books on Swarovski.

A New Affordable Jewellery Shopping Experience for the Fashion-Conscious

A New Affordable Jewellery Shopping Experience for the Fashion-Conscious

(PRWEB) July 18, 2009

Jewellery Shop Online is a flourishing Irish-based costume and designer jewellery store. As the name suggests, the difference here to the usual pricey High Street jewellery shops is that all their elegant goods can be viewed via the internet from the comfort of your own home. The website is highly appealing with a very professional and modern layout. The business was set up and developed by Susan Salkeld, who has a keen interest in ladies fashions. The online jewellery store is based in Dublin but delivers to all of Ireland, as well as catering for regular customers across Europe and even farther afield.

“At Jewellery Shop Online we want to bring variety, colour and glamour to the jewellery accessory market. There’s a real wow-factor about most of the items we offer, especially when actually seen and handled. But we also hope our affordable prices bring an extra smile when the buyer realises how much cash they’ve saved by browsing around our shop.”

Susan personally vetted high-quality suppliers from around the globe and then selected the extensive range of stunning products on display. Notable collections include:

Krystal London -Krystal are recognised as the leading designers and manufacturers of exquisite designer jewellery using only the highest grade Swarovski Crystals. They are universally renowned for their high quality pieces and attention to detail. Huge dangling chandelier earrings, crystal shower necklaces and cuffs are just some of the pieces you can view in this collection. Everything in Krystal’s display is designed by Kish Vasa who has over 20 years of experience, thus guaranteeing exceptional and unique designs.

Lola Rose – In their section, you find examples of some of the most beautiful semi-precious jewellery on offer today. You will be dazzled by creations in an array of stunning and unusual colours. Susan has called upon the services of Lola Rose’s leading modern jewellery creator, the highly-talented Nicola Gewirtz, to offer pieces which catch the eye with great effect.

The Silver Collection – For fans of silver jewellery, Susan has hand-picked a great range of desirable items which will “set off” your outfit, regardless of the occasion. From beautiful dress rings and classical necklaces to stylish cuff bangles and bracelets, Jewellery Shop Online doesn’t disappoint in silverwear accessories. The website is proud to boast that all its silver goods are hallmarked after passing the most rigorous of inspections at The Assay Office in Dublin Castle.

Rhinestone Crystal Jewellery – For that special occasion, Susan’s e-commerce shop can provide those important finishing touches to a memorable outfit; sparkling rhinestone crystal chokers, co-ordinated earring & necklace sets, tiaras, etc. Some items have been selected with weddings in mind, but the more understated designs are perfect to add class and sophistication to evening and party wear.

Jewellery Shop Online has a fabulously large selection of general designs featuring semi-precious stones which originate from all corners of the world. In some cases, the ethnic origins of the pieces come to the fore, literally in their shape, weight and highly attractive but rare colours. Other creations follow more traditional, antique styles but here the nicest surprise comes by way of their pricing which would suit anyone’s pocket even in these hard times.

Susan knows that fashion-conscious women must spend their hard earned money wisely. As she points out, “We have done thorough research regarding our jewellery pricing structure and our aim is to offer the lowest possible prices for all our jewellery lines. Our designer jewellery is on average 15% lower than anything like its equivalent in trendy department stores in Ireland. We wanted to offer our customers something different that was affordable, so that we ladies can occasionally spoil ourselves without feeling guilty.”

The beauty about buying online apart from the obvious – trying to find time in our busy lives to take a day out to walk around various shops, sitting in traffic jams, parking problems, queuing at tills, etc – is that the prices are often much less than buying in the High Street shops. Susan confirms that this is mainly due to the online retailer not having to pay rent on display premises, and the saving in overheads is then passed on to the customer. Many people these days prefer to do their shopping via a convenient laptop or PC, and then have the ordered items delivered right to their front door. Susan sees no reason why shopping for good quality jewellery cannot follow this increasing trend.

Jewellery Shop Online imports its stocklist from countries all over the world. By doing so, they capture many exotic and gorgeous styles influenced by the different cultures they trade with. Susan hopes to bring both quality and variety to Irishwomen, and we cannot argue with her aspirations in the costume jewellery field. Already she is able to boast, “Currently we have two major designers on board but I’m hoping to have another three by the end of the year. It’s important to change stock and styles on a seasonal basis.”

‘Customer-care’ is also another of Susan’s buzzwords. She knows through her own online shopping experiences that the development of trust and good relationships with apparently faceless retailers is vital. “We always make sure we respond to any queries as quickly and efficiently as possible”, she remarks. “We also encourage feedback or requests – if a customer would like to see more items of a particular design or they are looking for a very special item of jewellery, then we will try our utmost to accommodate them”.

When asked to sum up why she seems to have limitless enthusiasm for her business, Susan answers effortlessly, hardly pausing for breath. “Since an early age I have always had a passion for beautiful jewellery whether it is fashion, costume or designer. I am realising my dream of supplying beautiful jewellery to ladies everywhere at prices they can afford. It makes my job such a pleasure. Jewellery is glamorous and fun – as it should be.”

Hot Diamonds Designer, Julie Leary Introduces Hot Diamonds — the UK’s Best-selling Jewellery Brand

Hot Diamonds Designer, Julie Leary Introduces Hot Diamonds — the UK’s Best-selling Jewellery Brand

London, UK (PRWEB) December 19, 2008

During 2008, the re-design of Hot Diamonds went live. This exciting development is yet another step in the growth of the Hot Diamonds brand which has expanded phenomenally since its creation in 2001. Hot Diamonds chose February as their month launch — just in time for Valentines — with a stunning collection of sterling silver and diamond jewellery which included charms, diamond rings and diamond earrings. It was an overnight success; rapidly establishing themselves as the No.1 selling jewellery brand in the UK, a position they have currently held for over 6 years.

The creation of Hot Diamonds came from Sanford Simpson’s (Co-founder) love affair with jewellery and film:

“I don’t like cold things against my skin”…”Well why don’t you invent some Hot Diamonds?” Grace Kelly & Cary Grant, To Catch a Thief, 1955

And that’s what Sanford did – naming his company as a tribute to one of Hitchcock’s most glamorous films: ‘To Catch a Thief.’ Set on the French Riviera and starring Grace Kelly and Cary Grant, the film is a timeless classic that oozes sophistication; and of course…diamonds — two key attributes of our jewellery designs!

Since then they have expanded globally with sales in more than forty countries including the US, Russia, Australia and France. Their success has also been recognised by the jewellery industry — winning the UK Jewellery Brand of the Year award twice at the prestigious UK jewellery awards.

Inspired by the Four C’s – ‘Cut, Colour, Carat and Clarity’ (i.e. essential guidelines when buying a diamond), Hot Diamonds has their own version – it’s their mantra:

Creed: They are non-conformists. They strive to design jewellery that is original, beautiful and desirable. They want to democratise the jewellery industry – their promise is simple; to create irresistible jewellery using only genuine materials. Their creed is highlighted with the symbolic gesture of a diamond in each and every piece. A diamond is the most precious of gemstones; it embodies sensuality, mystery and beauty. This is their intimate gift to you, and a commitment to the belief that preciousness and great design should be accessible to all.

Creativity: They like thinking outside the box and strive to be creative in all that they do. Hot Diamonds are inspired by the world around us. Hot Diamonds don’t believe in sitting behind a desk but would rather be out there looking for new ideas, leading the trends. Anything can inspire: black and white Hollywood films, galleries, nature, travel, antique trimmings and fastenings, architecture and much, much more.

Craftsmanship: All Hot Diamonds jewellery is crafted from genuine materials: precious 18ct yellow gold, 9ct yellow and white gold, sterling silver, diamonds and more. Each stage in the design and development of Hot Diamonds jewellery is cherished and painstakingly undertaken. Hot Diamonds ensure that our continued craftsmanship and sensitivity to design remain at the forefront of all our activities. All their diamonds come from conflict free sources.

Commitment: They are a growing team of dedicated jewellery fanatics and are passionate about breaking new ground in jewellery design for women and men, Hot Diamonds aim to create beauty – quite simply, Hot Diamonds expect nothing less. They remain committed to their vision and are keen to share their belief that great jewellery should be accessible to all – They are convinced that jewellery is the key to long-lasting happiness…!”

Middletown, OH (Vocus) November 2, 2010

RetiredSwarovski.com is a web site that is sponsored in part by Warner’s Blue Ribbon Books on Swarovski and other companies that offer Swarovski-related services. While the site is consistently being updated with retirement announcements, the most recent addition to the site includes useful, informative printouts of retired Swarovski figurines.

RetiredSwarovski.com first launched the Swarovski Ornament fact sheets in September 2010. The response from collectors was strong….they wanted these fact sheets for more product lines. New to the site are fact sheet for the following product lines: Swarovski Disney, Swarovski Lovlots, Swarovski Soulmates, and Swarovski Chinese Zodiacs. The facts sheets for these product lines are grouped together for now due to the smaller number of retirements in the products each year. The fact sheets contain miniature photos of the figurines, name, part number, system number, and Swarovski designer, and years in production. In contrast, the Swarovski ornament fact sheets organized by year and for ornaments retiring 1981 through 2009.

RetiredSwarovski.com has a vast amount of information about discontinued Swarovski crystal, and pending Swarovski retirements. The site navigation allows crystal collectors to view Swarovski retirements alphabetically in the Swarovski library, or browse by year in the Swarovski Retirements. Additionally, there is also a section on the site for Swarovski crystal that is “retiring soon” and it is frequently updated as the company Swarovski announces Silver Crystal figurines that will soon be discontinued.

RetiredSwarovski.com also includes retirement information for Swarovski Silver Crystal, Swarovski Crystal Moments, Swarovski Home & Interior, and Swarovski Paradise. All this fantastic content that is certain to be of interest to Swarovski crystal fanatics.

Since the site sponsors have personal interest in Swarovski, RetiredSwarovski.com contains information about the sponsors’ products and services. Swarovski collectors can also learn more about the Swarovski catalogs offered by Warner’s Blue Ribbon Books on Swarovski. The Swarovski catalogues can be purchased with color photos, black and white photos, or via an online subscription service. If a collector is trying to establish the Swarovski value of a collection for insurance purposes, these catalogs are essential. Warner’s Blue Ribbon Books has an extremely reliable record of annually publishing their books for the past 18 years. They can be found at http://www.wbrb.com . For a minimal fee, wbrbonline.com offers an annual subscription service that allows subscribers to run queries on Swarovski crystal items, using the name, part number, or system number, to retrieve beneficial facts on the crystal figurines, including designer, dimensions, and Swarovski values (suggested insurance value), photos, and more.

For those collectors who may need restoration services, RetiredSwarovski.com contains information about repair and restoration, and a company that specializes in restoring retired Swarovski…..The Crystal Wizard. These Swarovski restoration experts can be found at tcwizard.com.

Glint Jewellery Provides an Antidote to Boho

Glint Jewellery Provides an Antidote to Boho

London (PRWEB) September 9, 2005

For those weary of the ubiquitous ‘boho’ beads and hippie earrings of recent seasons, Glint jewellery’s distinctive, feminine designs provide welcome relief.

Self-taught designer-maker Kate Wood launched Glint in December 2003. Her designs are characterised by soft, organic forms and subtle combinations of colours and surface textures. Kate makes each piece by hand, combining meticulous attention to detail with careful sourcing of quality materials to form elegant and affordable earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

After completing her French degree, Kate worked as a museum curator while continuing to indulge her passion for jewellery making in her spare time. ‘As I experimented with different materials and techniques, I began to think seriously about developing my own line of jewellery’, she says. ‘I always got compliments when I wore my designs, and the idea took root that this could grow into something special.’

Glint’s four themed collections are constantly evolving. Launching this autumn, Sequin is a capsule collection of simple, delicate 9ct yellow gold pieces with beaded detailing in shades inspired by Indian textiles.

Cluster is a range of delicate pieces in oxidised sterling silver with meticulously wire-wrapped accumulations of tiny freshwater pearls and semi-precious faceted beads, including unusual stones like tanzanite and apatite.

Swagger is dark and dramatic, with chunkier stones and layered chains, and Vintage Leaf is based around vintage brass leaf charms. ‘They have a great patina and an ancient, Greek or Roman look to them,’ adds Kate.

‘I love fashion, but I see my jewellery as going beyond seasonal trends,’ she continues. ‘I aim to create pieces that women will wear for years to come.’

Glint jewellery is carried in selected London boutiques and is available to buy online from http://www.glintjewellery.co.uk

Retired Swarovski Crystal at Most Attractive Prices at Crystal Exchange America

Retired Swarovski Crystal at Most Attractive Prices at Crystal Exchange America

Crystal Exchange America, a Retired Swarovski Broker

Middletown, OH (Vocus) October 16, 2010

Crystal Exchange America is excited about the expansion of Swarovski crystal listings and bargain prices they have in their online store. In the past month, the number of products in their virtual inventory has increased and prices are at the most appealing level ever. The vast inventory means that there is a large variety of product offerings. Furthermore, Crystal Exchange America is seeing the most competitive prices in history of their 14 years presence on the internet! This is terrific news for all the Swarovski crystal fanatics eager to purchase retired Swarovski and hard-to-find Swarovski collectibles.

However, at the same time, this good news comes with some very mixed feelings for the collecting audience. Just like people turning their gold and jewelry into cash, Swarovski collectors are listing and selling their crystal because they can use some extra money. Not surprising to anyone, the economy remains slow, and even the unexpected are feeling the pinch leading to a difficult choice to sell their Swarovski. The more Swarovski figurines that are listed in the online store, the more competitive the prices become. When sellers are truly motivated to sell, they price their crystal to be the least expensive item in their store. When the next person comes along, in a comparable financial situation, they do the same thing….price their Swarovski to be lowest. It doesn’t take long to figure out how and why the prices on retired Swarovski are declining so quickly.

Swarovski collectors who do not wish to sell their crystal are feeling the effects of surge to sell Swarovski collections. The overall perceived value of their Swarovski collection is weakening. Will Swarovski values ever go back up? If so, what is the time frame? This is a difficult question that no one, not even the Swarovski experts at Crystal Exchange America, can truthfully answer.

Today, Crystal Exchange America has over 5000 Swarovski figurines in their store inventory. The majority of the Swarovski crystal in their online store is discontinued, retired and limited edition Swarovski. Most all items listed on their site display standard stock photos and include particulars from the Swarovski owners/sellers regarding the inclusion or exclusion of Swarovski certificates / generic product booklets, original Swarovski boxes / packaging, identification labels on Swarovski cylinders / boxes, and Swarovski logo on the crystal. Consumers purchasing Swarovski figurines expect reasonable prices, and quite often, complete specifics of the Swarovski crystal item they plan to buy.

Swarovski collectors interested in using the Crystal Exchange America services can have their crystal collection included on the web site. Collection owners simply use a secure form on the site to safely and securely submit the article(s) to be integrated on a future update. Motivated sellers may also inquire about having their crystal featured in the Swarovski Sale page of the site, which features those special pieces with the best Swarovski discount possible.

For the avid Swarovski collector looking for more than the crystal figurines, Crystal Exchange America also sells the most popular books on Swarovski Crystal. Two of the collectors’ favorite Swarovski price guides are written and published by Swarovski collectors: Warner’s Blue Ribbon Books on Swarovski.

Crystal Exchange America is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Swarovski. Crystal Exchange America is an independent company providing a specialist service to collectors of Swarovski Crystal and Swarovski Silver Crystal.
